Celebrating Women’s History Month at Apple Aventura

Apr 2, 2024 | All News

Our team had a blast this past Saturday, Mar. 30th, at the Apple Store at Aventura where we got to host a talk and workshop for Apple’s Today at Apple series in celebration of Women’s History Month.

Attendees heard from our CEO and Founder, Amy Renshaw as well as our Director of Professional Development and School for Advanced Studies – North Campus educator, Lisa Hauser, on how the Code/Art curriculum has impacted her 11th and 12th grade students. We then went through a beautiful journey of coded projects presented by two of her students and Code/Art competition contestants.

Lastly, attendees got to code their own app using Apple Swift Playground on iPads! Thank you Apple at Aventura Mall for having us and thank you to our community for joining us 💜
