That’s a wrap on our summer camps for rising 6th-9th grade girls in various locations across Miami! The past few weeks have been filled with creativity, innovation, and empowerment, and we couldn’t be prouder of the young minds that have flourished in our camps.
During the camps, Code/Artists were introduced to programming by creating projects using JavaScript and Scratch. Campers also had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, explore real-world applications of coding, and gain insights into various career paths such as Web3, UX/UI, IT, Business Development, and Cybersecurity.
“Code/Art is a great program to introduce any girl to coding. Thanks to Code/Art, my daughters have been able to explore the language and world of coding.” – Carla C., Parent
Our camps were held at various Miami-Dade College campuses located in Liberty City, Coconut Grove, Little Havana, and Downtown Miami. Additionally, we held a virtual summer camp for our elementary level students.
“[My daughter] is much more confident in her ability to code and is even considering it as her college major!” – Magalie S., Parent
None of this would have been possible without the incredible dedication of our instructors, mentors, and volunteers. Together, we are creating a supportive ecosystem that nurtures young talent and fosters lasting connections.
