Code/Art provided judges for the #iCode coding competition for girls at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair on April 7, 2016. The event, the first of its kind at the fair, was sponsored by Miami-Dade County Public Schools and organized by Lisa Hauser, iPreparatory Academy math teacher and Girls Who Code Club advisor. Middle school winner was Abigail Salazar of Bowman Ashe Doolin K-8 (pictured above with her coded self portrait). High school winner was 9th grader Anna Mistele of Ransom Everglades School.
