Code/Art taught 657 girls in 33 coding sessions taught at area schools and community centers during Computer Science Education Week (Dec 5-11). Local tech entrepreneurs, computer science students, and educators volunteered their time to make the effort a success. Volunteers included Elizabeth De Zulueta, Taylor Gandolfi, Marilu Kernan, Luis Martinez, Kierstin Matsuda, Morgan McKie, Noe Miniel, Victoria Moser, Dylan Tackoor, and Cristina Villarroel.

The effort was made possible through a grant from the Awesome Foundation MIAMI. Code/Art hopes to make this an annual initiative and reach even more students during Computer Science Education Week 2017.
