Tech Workshops

Grades 3-8 | 1-2 hour skills training

Technical workshops that dive deeper into the learning and understanding of on-demand skills and programming languages. Workshops can be hosted by corporate or community partners. Examples of workshops are web development, video game development, or creating code-based art.

Career Talks (Future Tech LeadHERs)

Grades 8-12 | 1+ hour presentation followed by Q&A + time for mentorship

Careers in computing are continuously evolving and branching out into new roles that didn’t even exist 5 years ago! Learn from field experts (typically women in tech) about what it’s like to work in their particular field, how they’re successful in their role, and what are some career opportunities within their field. Examples include Intro to Data Science, A day in the life of a UX/UI Designer, What is a Creative Technologist?, and Intro to Cybersecurity.

Art+Tech Talks - Artists that Inspire Us

All Ages | 1 hour talk or panel followed by Q&A

Are you passionate about the intersection between art, tech and design? Through a series of talks conducted with select artists and arts professionals, Art+Tech Talk serves to spotlight female thought leaders that are using code and technology to create innovative art. Past speakers include Natasha Tomchin, Saya Woolfalk, Tam Gryn and Sofia Garcia.

Art+Tech Talks are curated and hosted by Ellie Hayworth– Founder and CEO of Hayworth Co., a strategic business and communications consultancy committed to intrepid ideas in art and design. All 2021 Art+Tech Talks are sponsored by Oliver Gal.

Code/Art Fest

Grades 3-12 & Teachers | Annual full-day conference

Code/Art Fest- our biggest gathering of the year is held every spring.  Students and teachers are invited to attend a variety of events happening throughout the conference including tech workshops, keynotes, student art exhibition, STEAM Expo, live student pitch competition, and more!
