As the 2024-25 school year comes to a close, Code/Art is proud to celebrate the success of our Empowering Teachers with the Art of AI project, made possible through the generous support of Infosys Foundation USA.
This initiative has equipped K-12 educators nationwide with innovative Art+AI professional development (PD) courses, helping them integrate AI-powered creativity into their classrooms. Hosted exclusively on the Pathfinders Online Institute (POI), these courses have expanded access to high-quality STEM education, inspiring students to explore the intersection of art and artificial intelligence as a space for innovation and expression.
Through the POI platform, we’ve reached 226 educators who have completed our Art+AI training courses. Our Chief Learning Officer, Lisa Hauser, has played a key role in supporting teachers by leading workshops that provide hands-on guidance through our lessons as well as connecting with new partners that have been instrumental in us reaching new teachers.
We were able to reach this number by hosting virtual workshops in December and January. The response was overwhelmingly positive:
- 100% of participants found the session engaging
- 100% of participants felt the topics covered were relevant to their teaching and PD needs

December 7th Virtual Teacher Workshop
“I truly loved the opportunity to learn and grow. I am excited to share Scratch, JavaScript, and AI Art with my grade 6-8 learners. They are going to love it as much as I do, and they will be so much better!” – Middle/High School Teacher

Additionally, we partnered with CSTA Miami and CSTA Broward during each of their Computer Science Education Week celebrations to host in person teacher workshops across South Florida!

We extend our deepest gratitude to Infosys Foundation USA for their invaluable support in making this initiative possible. Their commitment to empowering educators is helping shape the future of STEM education—one creative classroom at a time!
