Welcome to the Code/Art Clubs Application

We’re excited that you are interested in joining Code/Art's mission to closing the gender gap in computer science with our club program. To get started, tell us more about you and how you would like to use this application in the questions below!

Club Eligibility Task

Before you complete the application, you will need to have identified an estimated start date within the next 10 months and the street address for your Club (even if you are meeting virtually). Also, please note that you must either be a Club Instructor (identify your role here) to complete an application. Before you proceed, please review our Clubs eligibility requirements: 1. While Code/Art takes a gender-specific approach to our programming, our Clubs are open to all students. We provide members with safe, girls-focused spaces, and center curricula on women in tech so that girls can imagine themselves in computing roles. Any member – regardless of gender identity – who wishes to support our mission is encouraged to join the Sisterhood! 2. Clubs must serve students between 3rd and 8th grades. 3. Clubs may not charge money for participation. Please complete the rest of the application so we can help you launch a Code/Art club!

Congratulations! You're eligible to apply to start a Code/Art Club. Please continue below and provide information regarding when your Club(s) will run! Code/Art clubs typically meet once a week for 1.5 hours and they are designed for 10+ weeks of facilitation during the academic year.

To be approved, your club needs an instructor. Instructors guide club members through the curriculum, and they are not required to have any technical experience. Please provide information for a Instructor below, and we'll send them an email to get their application started

Why do we ask these questions? Code/Art collects this data for our internal business purposes, including for data analysis and audits. We may use this data, in conjunction with other sources of data (for example, responses to surveys we administer to stakeholders) to assess the quality and impact of our programs and make ongoing program planning and improvements.
Remember, CS experience isn't necessary to facilitate a CodeHER Club!
