This summer, we’re bringing the excitement of coding and technology to middle school girls across the City of Miami!
Code/Art is thrilled to share that we’ve partnered with Venture Miami and Miami Dade College to host 5 1-week long camps at four different MDC locations across the City of Miami. Our goal is to empower young learners with valuable coding skills, soft skills, and information about careers in tech—all within their own communities.
We believe that every student deserves the opportunity to explore the world of technology, regardless of their background or experience. That’s why we’re offering the summer camps for free to applicants who live in the City of Miami & qualify for free and reduced lunch. No prior coding experience is necessary!
Eligibility: Female-identifying or gender non-binary student. Rising 6th-9th grader. Must reside in the City of Miami. No coding experience required.
Camp Schedule:
- July 10-17 – The Idea Center at Miami Dade College (Downtown Miami)
- July 17-24 – MDC Padrón Campus (Little Havana)
- July 17-24 – MDC Gibson Educational Center (West Grove)
