Univision Features Code/Art Elective at Ernest R. Graham K-8 Academy

The future is bright! This month, we had the pleasure of visiting a Code/Art Creative Coding elective taught by an all-star middle school teacher, Ms. A’Shonda Bivens at Ernest R Graham K-8 Academy Hialeah,FL. During our visit, we got to chat with young girls who proudly shared their coded projects and spoke confidently about their plans of becoming Engineers, Animators, and App Developers. Ms. Bivens shared that what she loves the most about this course is seeing the transformation that the girls go through from the beginning of the school year to the end – the confidence in their abilities confirming that they can truly do ANYTHING they set their minds to.
